Want a truly stunning Boho Ibiza vibe in your garden, plus a lovely shady spot? Then it’s time for a Coconut shade sail from 4shine. With a coconut shade sail, you create that authentic cosy atmosphere for the ultimate ambiance. Prefer not to go for Coconut? Then choose a Macramé shade sail.
Installing a Coconut or Macramé shade sail
- Install the coconut shade sail onto a few posts or between several walls, or of course a combination of the two.
- A coconut shade sail will always stretch. So, for example, for a 4x4x4 m1 triangular coconut shade sail, you need a gap of 5x5x5 m1.
- Before placing posts, for example, lay out your shade sail properly first so you can be sure your posts are spaced far enough apart.
- Always install a coconut sail with rope between the eyelets of the sail and the eyelets on your posts.
- Also make sure your posts are positioned at the correct distances from each other in proportion to the sail.
- Hang your coconut shade sail really high enough; 300 cm high is truly the minimum required. It will always sag a little, and keep in mind that you should be able to tension it again.
- Attaching a cleat to a post and an eye at the top of the post, so you can run the rope through it, is handy for easily re-tensioning your sail.
